Switching to lead vocals at 18, she has been in numerous bands, including Fox, Babe, Flashback, Chain Reaction, Raging Hormones, and the Swamp Boogie Queens, playing many styles of music such as classic rock, disco, swing, and, of course, the blues. And the nickname? She got it in junior high school when friends decided to call her Swamp instead of Marsh (for Marcia). |
